God is still doing miracles even today. There are many obstacles along the way, as we move forward in serving him ( God ), but with his help, nothing is impossible. Before, we only have one worship service every Sunday; at present, we have two already. The time of the first service is from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, the other is from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. The locations are different, the first service is located at the ground floor of the building, the second service is in the 4rth floor of the same building.

Our church Sunday service at present has an average of more than a hundred church goers, it started with only 30 people when we began.

Last year, we dreamed of a small area where a church camp would be built, we don't have the capacity to buy a land for that purpose, and all we can do is just pray. A month ago, that was July this year, a regular church goer was touched by God and gave us 567 square meters of land. We praise God for performing a another miracle.

We transferred to a new location - Praise God!

Praise God for the new place of worship

The place where we gather is now getting smaller, not that the room is shrinking, but the attendance is increasing. We give all God the glory for his goodness. Now, we are about to transfer to another location, but still in the same building. The owner of the latter is a fine christian who loves the Lord with all his heart, and so he prepared a bigger and better place for God's people to use. Praise be the name of the Lord Jesus. The place is now almost done, but in this photo( taken a month ago ) the construction is still on its inception.

Serving the community for Jesus

This past month of April up to this month, we are busy with our new ministry, inspite of our limited resources, we are trying our best by squeezing our budget to let the less fortunate kids feel the love of Jesus through our feeding and basic education program. If you would like to help as a volunteer or a contributor, you are very much welcome to do that. Please continue to pray for us.

God provided us with used Bibles

The word of God, the Bible, will never be out of date. Men of the past who love the Lord kept it, men of the present who are christians cherish it, and men of the future who will accept Jesus will surely get it. We thank God for using a church in texas, U.S.A, for paying the shipping and handling of the used Bibles. These are to be used in Bible studies. We praise and thank the Lord for it. The Bibles arrived two weeks ago.

Friday Bible Study - First Anniversary

Last March, first week - 2009, is the first Friday Bible study we ever had. This coming March 2010 is our first Anniversary. We are glad that God allowed Christian Refuge Baptist Center to exist up to now. The average attendance of our Bible Study - we converted it to prayer meeting - is now 30 adults, but most of the time the number of those attending is more than 30, Praise be the name of the Lord Jesus.( Bro. Happy New Year!

It is really good to get new things. The good feelings and the excitement are there. Kids as well as adults like to have new things. At this time, all of us are happy, because New Year is here; but it would be nice if all of us have the so called NEW LIFE in Christ. Happy New Year to you and your lovedones.
